oh yeah, and weeding the garden too...
take one patch of garden that looks much like this-
then remove this-
giant heap of weeds + a bit of old picket fence...and remove these too-
many, many rocks...which leaves you with this-
then repeat ad infinitum..
*sigh*next, construct a nice recycled retaining wall, plus some compost bays, a new home for the worms, a barrel for making compost/manure teas, and some sunny shelves for raising seedlings..
then add masses of compost, manure, bokashi goodness, worm juice..
leave to stew for a few months covered in compost &/or carbon crops, and nitrogen fixing helpers...
and then *theoretically* we will have a lovely, rich vege garden, with everything conveniently placed to maintain it in a wholesome, organic, sustainable manner! :-D
that's the idea anyway! ;-)
and golly don't i just pick the best times to do this sort of thing! lol..
