ok, so the aforementioned couple of days somehow stretched into 10, but anyway...
the super secret project that i was working on for a while was this!
long story short (what a strange abridged phrase that is if you don't know the full version!) one of my dear friends was having a baby, so a bunch of knittery types from one of my haunts worked together making a whole bunch of squares to make a blanket for her!
each square is (roughly ;-) ) 15cm, making the blanket around 105x75cm + all the border stuff.. so it's a fairly decent size for using in a cot or for tummy time on the floor :-D
anyhoo, what i was busy doing was collecting up all the squares, crocheting a border around each, sewing them all together, then crocheting a border round the whole thing..(love how fast crochet is!) and i also did these-
should keep little taylin nice & cozy in her new southern home!
(and i swear it isn't as wibbly in real life as it looks in the photo!)
