3 hobby horses for the kids for xmas!
two horses for the big kids
and a wee pony for the littlun!They're made from mens socks (the thicker sport type one for the pony worked better than the business socks for the big ones), stuffed with wool fleece, and finished with felt, yarn & ribbon details :-)
The idea is from a book called "Creative Play for Your Toddler; Steiner Expertise and Toy Projects for 2-4 years", and is a lovely, simple craft project, albeit with quite a lot of hand stitching!
